The IT department has made it compulsory to link PAN with the Aadhaar card by 30th June 2023, or else the PAN will become inoperative.

The taxpayers who have not linked their PAN-Aadhaar within the last date of 30th June 2023, can do so by paying a late penalty of Rs.1,000.
